Our Skipton office is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and highly organised project / training administrator to join our Talent and Training team. You will be joining a team dedicated to supporting the development and coordination of training courses, where our subject matter experts share their technical expertise in flood risk and environmental management with both external clients and our own staff. Beyond technical expertise, the Talent and Training team also plays a key role in developing essential skills in areas such as health and safety, project management, and personal effectiveness - helping to shape well-rounded professionals and foster a culture of continuous growth across JBA.

Your role
The successful candidate will be supporting the wider Talent and Training team to organise and manage training delivery to our staff and clients.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling of internal and external training courses according to demand and presenter availability.
- Handling course enquiries from internal staff and external clients and advancing them through the formal booking process.
- Maintaining training and competence records.
- Collecting training feedback and supporting the team to make improvements.

Qualifications
Applicants should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including
- Maths and English (Grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) (or equivalent)
Essential attributes for the role
- Sufficient I.T. skills in relevant software, i.e. the full Office 365 package.
- Confident in the use of Excel to manage and organise data
- Ability to handle personal data in line with confidentiality and GDPR
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior and junior colleagues, as well as external clients, both verbally (in person and virtually via Teams) and in writing
Desirable attributes for the role
Whilst not essential, we would welcome candidates with further education qualifications (Levels 4 – 6) in a relevant subject area, such as Business Administration, Learning and Development or the like.
