The Role
Are you a current member of the Supervising Engineer Panel for England and Wales?
If so, we are seeking an experienced engineer to join our growing Dams and Reservoirs team to manage a portfolio of 30 reservoirs across the south of England.
You’ll be joining an established environmental and engineering consultancy who put sustainability and resilience to climate change at the heart of our company strategy. Your role
The role will include:
- Management of your own portfolio of reservoirs as a Supervising Engineer
- Undertake engineering feasibility and design work for dams and reservoirs
- Prepare outline / planning / detailed designs for reservoir upgrade / remedial works
- Prepare NEC4 contract documentation in accordance with CDM 2015
- Work with our All-Panel Reservoir Engineers
- Mentoring of our trainee panel engineers.
We are also particularly interested in candidates who have an interest in applying for the AR, NIR or SR panels – for which we would provide a structured training scheme.
There will also be opportunity to work on international dams and reservoirs projects.
Location:
The post can be home-based or based at any of our southern England offices (Peterborough, Haywards Heath, Portsmouth, Exeter, Bristol or Wallingford).

Qualifications
We are looking for applicants with a relevant Engineering, Hydrology/Geology/Geotechnics degree (or equivalent).
Essential attributes for the role
Candidates should have:
- Relevant membership of a UK or Irish engineering professional institution
- Relevant Engineering, Hydrology/Geology/Geotechnics degree (or equivalent)
- A valid UK driving licence
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
